The Astros have been struggling to score for months. They had ungodly bats during the first half of the season, but they've been bizarrely quiet in the second half, and their record reflects that. The straight average of their offense is wildly skewed by that first half. Best offense in the MLB? Not at this moment in time. Over the season, sure, but so what? You can't roll over runs from their double digit wins to games where they can barely score a run. I'm confused as to what happened to the team's legendary offensive production, and it can't all be explained away by injuries. Regardless, they need to score some damn runs NOW, not 80 games ago, to support their new guy who's pitching great right NOW.
