Man Irma is going to set some records if she keeps going at this pace. What a beautiful storm. Sadly, someone is going to take the brunt of this. For USA's sake, hopefully Cuba can shred her up pretty good before getting to Florida or into the Eastern GoM.
That one was understandable, though. It wasn't really a case of price gouging, it was more of dumb management. They multiplied the individual bottle price by the package size to come up to those numbers.
@Space Ghost you should try Amazon pantry or something. I know a lot of folks here in Houston were able to get water that way. A lot of them had it delivered to their work.
Thanks! I am mostly set, but I wanted to stock up and have some emergency rations for those who need it in my neighborhood. Ive been saving jugs over the past few days to use as water storage.
Damn Irma why you look so good? But seriously, that is one scary looking storm. Those poor little islands in the Caribbean surely cannot take a direct hit from this and expect to be ok.
Models are putting it from the East FL coast to now the West FL Coast. Houston still seems pretty safe, but if I was in NO, I would be very concerned right about now.
God, what an absolute monster. I'm not too concerned for us; looks like it'll bounce north. God knows we couldn't handle a storm like that on top of what we've already received. But I feel badly for whomever is in its path. It. Is. Gonna. Tear. S***. Up.
