A single billionaire owner is rarely a good thing, but a group has it's drawbacks as well. At least we know what we're getting and who knows, he might not be so bad. I am really glad this is over with though! That it's sold before the season and there's no distractions. Will be interesting to say the least, exciting too
Very interesting. I don't expect him to be as lowkey as Les - he strikes me more stylistically Cuban-ish. Hoping for the best. But either way I'm ready for this season. Lets roll.
Same! But my hope is we see more sell outs like the Mavericks have. One thing we can say positively about Cuban is he puts butts in seats. I hope, Tillman can prevent national tv empty seat games
He broke the bank to get this team, so he'll definitely put his own stamp on it. Will be interesting if he and Morey can get along.
I know exactly how I feel. Fertitta has the sh-midas touch. Everything he touches turns to ****. Sadly, he somehow makes money on his crappy ventures. I guess in an era where Donald Trump is POTUS, it's only fitting that Tilman Fertitta would own the Rockets.
Feigen confirms Fertita has broken the precious price record. The rockets have sold for a record breaking price that has yet to be disclosed
It's an installment plan. I think the NBA had a Labor Day promotion for interest free payments for the next 30 years. Use LABORDAY at checkout.
Le$ and Tad Brown made it clear that they were only gonna sell to a buyer who's intention was to keep the team in Houston. Plus, I don't see too many reasons for why moving the team would be a smart thing to do.
Dont know how I feel about this. Some of his stories told by some on here are pretty douchey. @CCorn bout to boycott all Rockets games.
hopefully, I'll never forget how embarrassing the start of game 6 against the Spurs was...the place looked 50% full at best
