    What's funny to me personally is I was at his last start as a Tiger yesterday in Denver. He looked very good and even drove in a run as a hitter.

    This was a good trade for both teams. The Astros had to make a big move, and have Verlander for this year and two more. There is a real chance he is still effective next year and maybe longer. The Astros also protected their top prospects.

    For Detroit they got three prospects with very high ceilings.

    Tough 40 man decision coming up. If I had to guess it will be Guduan but you'd have to think they will strongly consider Tony Sipp.
