Hi CF, I figured I'd start a thread where those here that have been directly affected by the Hurricane- such as people like justtxyank and others that lost a lot in the storm can put in requests for anything they need- monetary, supplies, etc. Or put in requests for people that you all know who are in need of things. People OR charities/evacuation centers, etc. I'm sure others on CF here in the U.S. and abroad would love to help any CFers in need or people close to CFers.
On my end, I just want to put in a request for anyone that feels inclined to help this friend and his crew who have been helping rescue people all week. They helped evacuate my uncle and his family a couple of days ago.
Also, does anyone know any charities/churches/mosques/evacuation centers that are in need of ANYTHING? I'll be coming back down to Houston early next week and I can bring a bunch of stuff down or even purchase supplies in Houston to take in. I'm sure some others on here might be coming in from Dallas or Austin or San Antonio or elsewhere around the country and would like to help donate items. Just let us know if you know of a place that needs any type of supplies, food, contributions, etc. Thx

Actually yeah that sounds like a good idea. I missed that thread you posted so thanks for that. Mods- help merging the threads?
