My office is right off of Dairy Ashford and I-10. According to the elevation maps, it's at 82 feet. I hadn't been able to get to the office due to street flooding around it. What are the chances the first floor is flooded?
NO YOU PLEASE STOP! Seriously, annoying AF. Facebook Ditched The Red Cross For Hurricane Harvey Relief "The Red Cross has faced intense scrutiny and criticism for its work in previous disasters. During Hurricane Harvey, people have encouraged others on social media to donate to groups other than the Red Cross." https://www.buzzfeed.com/mollyhensl...all-org-no-one?utm_term=.wjb0jz4Xe#.kjP085MyW Unless they can provide a line by line expenditure list, I refuse to trust a charity that established with billions of dollars in donations every year. These graphs are so pleasant to look at for some reason. The colors and simple legibility. I can't stop refreshing them compulsively throughout the day. Even when mine used to forecast a 40' crest, it still was somehow. Much more so now that it's "only" 32. Here's my backyard, same 2' above last years flood, but gotta wait til late friday for the worst of it:

Does anyone know the status of how the parking lots of IAH fared. I have family that went out on vacation before Harvey made landfall and they are wondering if they will have a running vehicle when they return.
