I assume this was in response to me and even if we accept him being 32nd, there are 160 starting O line players, so that's still pretty good. As to that number, Spotrac has him 2nd in base salary among all O linemen, 24th in total cash, and 16th in cap hit. So yeah....the Texans are paying him VERY well if he'd show up to collect.
It was a tongue in cheek comment that he actually rates 32nd on the salary scale as opposed to 33rd. Thus, the smiley face.
Seems like Texans don't really go after big names... But then there's Ed Reed, Osweiler (at the time) and Ahman Green
Lulz. Lets not forget Willfork either. Although useful enough, way past prime years. Lechler is the only big name that has really been impactful and that was really a mutual thing, since he wanted to come back to Texas.
Don't know how you define big names but Jonathan Joseph and Lamar Miller were commodities attracting a lot of suitors.

Broncos plan to release TJ Ward if no trade partners. He'd fit well next to Hal. Gonna be some intriguing names come available.
guessing Rick Smith is gun shy about signing free agent safeties after the Ed Reed/Raheem Moore fiascos
