I went to bed at 3 and it had not stopped raining once which means that it had rained non-stop for around 24 hours in Sugar Land...I woke up at 8 and it was still raining

    Did it ever stop raining?

I just took my dogs on a short walk and some parts of my street are a little flooded to about ankle deep

Forgot I have a tent. Might be useful by tomorrow evening.

Roof camping, almost as good an idea as evacuating

Fox 26 just said it would be a 45b cost for homes alone for this storm. I think it will be much, much higher. Here's the top 5 of the costliest storms:

    Name Damage
    (Billions USD)
    Season Storm classification
    at peak intensity
    Areas affected References
    Katrina
    $108.0 2005 Category 5 hurricane
    [1]
    Sandy $75.0 2012 Category 3 hurricane
    [2][3][4]
    Ike $37.5 2008 Category 4 hurricane
    [5][6][7]
    Wilma $29.4 2005 Category 5 hurricane
    [8][9][10][11]
    Andrew $26.5 1992 Category 5 hurricane
    • The Bahamas
    • Florida
    • United States Gulf Coast
    [5][12]

    Full list here.

24 hr fitness closed throughout the city

I have a buddy who runs a smaller local gym. So will be hitting that one up. Ain't nobody got time to put on the lbs. Got enough of them fatties in the eggball texans fanbase.

Live cam of water level at the I-45/Memorial intersection. There's a link in the description of the video that shows what it was like last Friday and also when a suspected tornado hit. If you look at the level when the tornado hit, you can see it's a bit lower now. Back then the water level looked like it was about to engulf Memorial.

Probably in for heavy rainfall through the day man. Sorry.

Tomorrow it should start moving out east and out of Houston.
