Addicks continues to rise. I found this map that someone posted and these tweets from Jeff Lindner that explain the current situation.
Heavy rains out in Beaumont right now. Imagine that. We didn't evacuate. There was so little water yesterday that me and the wife went out for margaritas. Water levels still fairly low outside from what I can see.
Been watching mostly Fox 26 (best women) and never saw a map with the area's rivers. The Weather Channel showed it in five minutes.
Biggest storm ever and it hits Houston... Harvey Did any other storms with H ever threaten Houston? 1000 Year Storm
Please do not drive anywhere for long distance going south to Houston. 45-N is closed at Spring Creek and Rayford Rd at railroad track has been road blocked. I saw a lot of Mont. County sheriff's cars and suvs either blocking, or driving around. At least 6 trucks with boats on their back going south. We should not drive because a lot of us lack of sleep, or not paying attention. I almost saw a near collison, if the suv was driving fast he would of hit that Charger who ran a red light on a u-turn. The suv honking like crazy is just uncalled for, it is not a normal day. As of 7:35. Almost everything is closed that would open at this time. If you need gas, if you see one open, go get it, or get food there. I saw only a few that opened, most gas stations are closed. Opened: Valero Gas Station near Wilkerson Shell Gas Station on Oak Ridge side (Rayford/Sawdust) Closed: Kroger's Panther Creek (Research Forest Dr) opening soon McDonald (Panther Creek) may open soon HEB Sawdust opening soon HEB Central Market may not open at all, no cars at all
