F*** the f***ing rangers. If they wanted to create some bulletin board material for this series, they did a great job.
And the most heated rivalry in all of Houston sports just took another turn... I'm glad the Rangers apparently like to be perceived as the villain in all of this. Even though their intentions are still there to "assist", and they should never be obligated to have to do extra work to re-accomodate their own season ticket holders due to another team's issues... there's absolutely no way they're going to look good in any of this. Reminds me of the PR nightmare the Astros were in 2012-2014.
No damage... just no airport to fly in, freeways flooded around there, and absolutely no way fans could actually go to a game there.
Yeah...those poor people would be so inconvenienced. I'm seriously infuriated about this. G0d f*cking forbid your 20 actual fans are slightly inconvenience by having to miss a baseball game when they're team will have been mathematically eliminated. I hope the first pitch is in the direction of whatever box that pu**y Daniels is hiding in if he has the balls to show up for this series.
As infuriated as I am about all this, this was always going to be the outcome. That's just Dallas. That's just Rangers. Only thing we can do now is focus and try and sweep them. That would be the ultimate revenge.
Astros Florida... didn't we make a bunch of trades with them once they hired Gerry Hunsicker in 2005? Tampa does us a solid.
Wonder how he feels about the inconvenienced Astros fans. He should at least step up and offer all ticket money generated from the September series in Arlington be donated to victims in Houston. Every. Single. Penny.
No salvage charity.. they had their chance to accommodate and do the right thing... I'm 110% sure their fans would have understood. Their organization just didn't want to have to deal with the potential refunds. If for some reason a Saints-Texans game date would have to be flip-flopped in 2005, and I had to change the date of attending a Texans home game... I wouldn't have blinked an eye.
