Just let me know honestly if you are being sarcastic or seriously have an issue with Watt.

pull a few planks along the wall edges. This allow moisture to escape. You MAY be able to save it this way. Tearing up glued down real wood is a b*tch. We decided to not do it (in last year baton rouge flood) and it has held up okay, though we need to refinish it.

I need to drive to San Marcos from Montgomery tonight. Does anybody know whether there are any road issues along 290, or TX21, or I35 south?

It's a nailed down wood floor, not a glued down engineered floor.Hoping it all works out

our were glued down real wood floor to slab. I don't know about nailed down. Imagine the same, although removing it should be easier.

I was wondering if any of y'all know a website I can go on to check if my house still has electricity or if the electricity is out.
I'm in DFW right now after leaving H-town on Thursday and obviously I'm stuck here just hoping all is well at home.

    Thx

Looks like oak trees are now uprooting from the water-softened soil, killing people where they sleep.

Add that to your list of ways to go in all this if you hadn't already.

Found out one of my neighbors on my block is suffering from a power outage. Consider yourself lucky if you still have power.

Was a bit surprised when he told me the corner store is open.

So sad that our area finally gets mandatory evacuations and Katy is nowhere on the list. :(

Not true, McNair gave to the local United Way of Greater Houston not Red Cross so it will stay in the city. Watt started his own funding which he will direct when completed. I gave $50 to it last night.

Let's go with an assumption of 10.8 mph.* In three days, it should move 777.6 miles. Of course, direction matters. The typical direction for a storm that makes landfall in TX is N to NE (aka away from us).
