LOL what a stupid post to harp on given that at the time it was posted literally no one knew where it was going and I was talking about hurricane wind damage, not flood damage.....but you be you.
Going to have to turn off these tornado alerts on my phone. Have to get some sleep tonight and don't think there is much I can do to prepare for that. Not like I will be walking around outside.
My mother in law just got flooded and my wife wants to go get her but I told her no due to the flooding on the way over. 249 is a river.
Bad. Westheimer / Post oak looked flooded from earlier snaps I saw. No time to buy your girlfriend Red Bottoms tomorrow.
Fort Bend County Office of Emergency Management recommended and mandatory evacuation zones (as suggested by the tweet, click on the link in the tweet, not just the map shown) :
So I just returned from vacation the day before it started flooding. I had very little warningand time to prepare but people told me to get water which I already had plenty of. Now I am starting to run low on food and I'm getting tired of eating eggs. Any suggestions? Not sure if there's anything open around me. I did not think the rain would last this long, and I really did not feel like fighting the crowds at the grocery stores.
Yup, now my street is starting to flood, storm drains aren't draining anymore. Another 20" of rain on top of this? Ugh...
Rankin and 45. This area gets little to no flooding because it is surrounded by bayous. As long as your car is parked in the driveway then you should be fine. I have A bunch of protein shake mix, honey, different types of oil's, peanut butter, barbecue sauce, teas, jelly, sweet potatoes, almond milk, two eggs, some onions, potatoes, and orange, garlic, bottled water, frozen bananas. Yeah, I think I'll be fine I just have to not be picky. Queue scene from this is the end.
