Mayor is holding a press conference at 10 AM. Everyone try to stay dry and calm. Rocket Fan for Life!
I feel sorry for the lady at KHOU 11. Their studios have been rained in and she is out in the streets. She looks miserable out there.
There had been one loan female reporter for channel 11 after they evacuated their studios. She was nearly in tears... and now channel 11 is off the air
Checking in from Gessner and Briar Forest. Raining extremely heavy right now... two more feet and it's in the house!
One thing about Houston. The people are great. Always willing to help others while even putting their lives at risks Big up Houston folks

Clear Creek (SE Houston/Clear Lake) is above the 500 year flood marker. Thank God that Columbus had the foresight to put that up. #aTrueAmericanHero Somehow my Sunday Chronicle newspaper made it to me here in Friendswood. It's soaked so I called and demanded a fresh copy.
Crazy live scene on KHOU. Cameraman spotted a trucker in his cab (on the wrong side) of the feeder. Water was maybe four inches from the window seal. Reporter flaghed down a Sherrif tugging a boat on the freeway that just happened to be going by. Feed died as they were trying to get the boat in.
For those of you stuck in your flooded homes Trump has recommended an excellent book for you to read -- not sure if Amazon Prime can get it to you before you're rescued though.
