It was the same here, but it didn't really drain this time. And now some of the storms from the second band have moved back over. I'm so stressed I'm exhausted and falling asleep. I'd better get 911 on speed dial and hope I get through when the time comes.

Storm turning S/SW towards Victoria and weakening slightly, The third band looks to be breaking up slightly. I'm praying hard,

In The Woodlands. No flooding but it hasn't let up in hours. Any one know the status of Spring Creek?

I'm only up because my brother in Jersey Village texted an hour ago asking if we were ok. I replied back, "yeah, why?", and then the butthead hasn't responded. Had me freaked out.

Brays Bayou crest @ Kirby has increased, but not much. Surprised it wasn't worse given the amount of rain westside over the last 1 1/2 hours. A 2-hour break allowing water to recede would do wonders, but doesn't look like there's a break in sight for 2 hours. Damn

Just read the Buffalo Bayou leading into Addicks Reservoir is at level above tax day flood already.

Addicks Reservoir is crucial for flood control throughout Houston. Everything drains west to east. Its failure would be catastrophic for the city. It's at 94.25' and rising. If it gets to 117' we have a massive problem, as I understand it.

Still nothing but bad news, unfortunately. Praying for everyone in the area. Please don't drive.

Luckily the northern edge of the band that's over Palacios is losing a bit of coherency and the nastiest part will stay to the south. Hopefully. Gained about another 6 inches up my driveway. Trying to stay awake so I don't get surprised with water in my living room.

I'm on blocks but not looking good. My dad lives in a two story down the road so I have a plan if need be. Just sucks but I still have hope. My poor neighbors already have water in the house.

I got flooded guys. 5 inches so far here by hobby. it's never happened. I rode a bike (carried it mostly) 5 miles to get to my pets. I'm running on adrenaline. got all the animals and got to my buddies house. This is one of the worst days of my life.

Yeah I don't know what we're going to do with our pets if we have to get rescued. I doubt they'll take them and my sister has already said she's not leaving without them.
