I'm still fine in San leon, but everyone I've talked to in league city is seeing the water enter their house :/. Waiting to hear from my father.
Been raining pretty hard today all the way up in Bryan. Can't imagine what people in Houston are going through tonight. Hoping that these rain bands let up or move out soon.
Lots of rain here near summerwood but no flooding. Water moving rapidly towards the drains. Looks like that band to the west of us is beginning to intensify.
The flooding is already as bad or worse than it was during Allison and last April....kind of hoping that this area doesn't get too much more rain till it can go down a bit.
Holy hell man. I went to my friends house near south of hobby this evening. I left around 9 to hurry home and catch the fight at 10. I figure it would take me an hour to get home in northwest. I took 45 into downtown. Then was gonna take Washington to i10. Washington was going smooth until I hit Past Durham. That's when **** hit th fan. I drove around that neighborhood trying to find a way to the Katy freeway. I spent about a half hour in that neighborhood. I found my way to tc jester and tried to cut through the timbergove area. And that was also a major fail cause **** was flooded. I was initially gonna try and get on the Katy but was worried about flooding. After getting frustrated about running through the flooded streets, I took the freeway. I didn't even take 290, I decided to take i10. Blalock and bingle were also f-ed up the ass. Caught the last six rounds. Now just watching he street.
Anyone getting much sleep tonight? I'm just keeping an eye on making sure water doesn't start to creep up the driveway.
Man, another band of heavy storms with a tornado warning in it heading towards Houston and the SW burbs
Any news of any more tornadoes in the richmond area? I know it died down kind of since this evening but this crap is kind of keeping me up.
Yeah that's what I'm keeping my eye on, right now there's a gap in the rain and it's not too bad, I'm hoping things drain before that next band hit, it's already pretty bad.
