That single band of thunderstorm that just went through Cypress produces some 4 to 5 tornadoes touch downs looks like the next band is going to be hitting west hou in about 2 hrs
Was told that tornadoes touched down in Cypress near 290. Anyone have more details? My house is near 290 and highway 6. Can't look it up right now
One touched down at the Berry Center. I live pretty close. Our lights flickered when the transformer blew over there. Freaky.
These strong cells keep popping up and racing NW. Another strong one is heading towards Atascoscita now. A well established band is inching its way from the west. Harvey appears to be drifting slowly eastish. Hopefully it doesn't get close to the gulf again like the Euro is predicting.
Houstonians are the best. Some of you might of watched the story on Sienna Plantation on KPRC, or some of might not. The story was there was a group of high schoolers, or schoolers around 50 of them that went around their neighborhood to help out people in need with broken fences, or debris. Or people driving by with offers of clothing, or water in that area. We may not be out of the wood, but this hurricane force, or wind is over. If we have power now, we should have power to watch Melo press conference.
