If anyone can find some videos/pics this mornjng fro rockport, Fulton, key allegro (in rockport), etc that'd be much appreciated. Thanks
that Jeff Piotrowski live stream was better than anything the weather channel had, I wonder if he is able to monetize it (looked like the Periscope had over a million views)
9.6" at a Stonebrook's weather station (SugarLand). They were getting 4-5" per hour this morning Sienna plantation (SugarLand) got hit by tornadoes last night. About 50 homes were damaged.
Fortunately, the rain bands around the eye are mostly just dark-green. The Houston area has gotten the heaviest, yellow-red. Forecast should be flooding, but not disastrous.
Watching the KHOU live feed and it looks really bad down on the coast. The bayous look almost full too and figure they're going to start overflowing soon. It was raining hard last night here in Minneapolis but that was only a 10th of what y'all are experiencing plus no 130 MHP winds.
Also has anyone been recently in touch with rhester? I've been to his house and saw on the maps that it was in one of the areas predicted to get 35" of rain. I know he's been flooded before so I hope he and his family are going to be OK.
Man, I hope so. Especially because it's on satellite. Rookie mistake. The cellphone companies could do something really good for the people and allow unlimited data for people in the affected areas. Let people have the chance to stay informed and in touch w/o gouging them for going over their limits.
Pick him up near a grass and let him go. Stand by his side, let him/her know you won't leave. They are frightened for the most part.
