The best thing about the killer hurricane is less ppv buys for Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor.

    Hopefully they feel the dent.

I was thinking there'd be more people stuck inside. Not paying for other entertainment. Justifying buying it.

Sucks for the bars that pre-paid. A friend of mine who owns a few bars shelled out $15k to get the early bird pricing.

    D'oh.

Still no update on Melo trade, though.

I'm sure they can get reimbursed due to a natural disaster preventing them from showing the fight.

A few hundred thousand will be inside not paying for other entertainment without any electricity.

Many will be with others who want to watch storm coverage. Don't have any data but my guess is major news events generally hurts your ratings.

Hooters on 290 saying they have no intentions on cancelling fight party unless they lose power.

Checking in from spring/Klein. So far so good, pretty decent wash this morning...I don't think we lost power at all through the night. Water got about halfway up the street. Calm now but can hear it rumbling in the distance.

Hope everyone is doing well. Anybody else notice how salty the air is? Had that Galveston flavor to it. Strange!

Feels like flooding wouldn't really be an issue for a few days right? Isn't the problem that it isn't going to stop?

There's flooding issues already around Sugar Land cause we got a deluge all last night. The large ditch behind my house is already almost filled.

What do y'all do when you got a dog who is shook from the cane and won't go outside? Let him poop in the house? That's wild
