Houston Chronicle has nothing on the Washington Post; even when the story is in their (our) own backyard. And the Chron only allows 4 free articles per month compared to WaPo's 8.
Most of them are concrete. They'll be fine. It's the downtown businesses and homes that I'm worried about. Port A is my favorite place to go in the state.
Or not? Right? Like you said, nothing has changed for Houston. It might or might not be catastrophic flooding. The smart plan is to count on it happening, but we are still at least a day away (prolly longer) from knowing for sure. Your statement sounded arrogant and smug like we already knew except for "those who aren't paying attention" Be nice to others. We still don't know. Houston still might get out of this with many days of rain, but manageable with little flood damage. Let's hope and prayer for that
I stayed at Cinnamon Shore and then The Reserve at St. Charles Bay last week......those places might be gone by now. Weird.
He's right in that this has been charted as a significant event for a while now. You're right in that we don't know exactly what's going to happen. Just what seems likely. Nothing is 100% though.
