Weather Channel keeps saying 21' for area within Grand Pkwy. That, spread over 3-4 days shouldn't be too bad.
I've been through plenty of tropical storms. This one is the first that actually got me worrying a bit. The unknown of the storm hanging around for ... SMH.
Man....I just really don't want to believe that this thing could still be hanging over Houston next Friday
There's some confusion as to what he means by this: People in the comments section are freaking out thinking he's telling everyone in Houston to evacuate. If I'm reading it correctly, he's saying the opposite. Wording is a little confusing, but the "for some reason" at the beginning makes it relatively clear he's saying not to evacuate. People are on EDGE!
Yeah I don't get their confusion. He's clearly telling people not to evacuate. That was a hugely depressing write-up. Now I'm extremely worried.
jeez man if this thing sticks around til wednesday we're in a boatload of trouble... friday??? better pray we all grow fins and gills.
It's going to be like the rain lotto - who knows what area will get wrecked. But some area that has never flooded will flood for this one.
My mom is trying to get me to come stay with her in west Houston. I'm in la Porte but my house has never flooded in its history. My mother absolutely hates my dogs so I'm at a crossroads if I should go there or not
