Houston is lowlands and Miami is a dump. Take your commie crap somewhere else. 35 inches of rain in 4 days would flood any city.
Something that hasn't been discussed: I'm not looking forward to Insurance Premiums (home & auto) going up again next year. This will be inevitable
George Bush park is designed to retain a lot of water. It was like a moat after the floods last year.

It's not commie crap if he's right. Lulz. Guess Mother Nature hates Houston just like ESPN with all these floods lately.
So what are the facts here for Houston? When will the "serious" rain start for Houston? When is the "30" inches supposed to start? Hard to sort through all of the discussion on tv.
Talked to all my people in Port A (they evacuated) and Houston (battening down the hatches) this morning. Loved one of by coonass buddy's response: "I'm picking up the generator right now and the crew is gathering at the house." It's funny that everyone I talked to mentioned hitting the liquor store and none said anything (to me) about groceries. Priorities.
On the bright-side, the drop in temperatures means we will all be paying less to keep our houses cool.
