    Well, it could happen but it would have nothing to do with Melo being good, Paul George is stuck on a team with the most selfish player in NBA history. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

    I don't think he has signed it yet. maybe he is waiting for next season to see what PG does.
    Does he even have an option of waiting till next season for signing?

    CP3 going to Cleveland after this season now...lol, ok...

    some people just love negative, doomsday scenarios I guess

    CP3 has been spending his time building a relationship with Harden and the rest of his Rocket teammates, not wondering about Cleveland

    I'm about ready to stop reading or visiting this thread...this **** is getting ridiculous now

    But the biggest factor is that Houston's offer sucks. Y'all know that. Quit trippin. NY has no obligation to make an awful deal for themselves. What's truly puzzling is that CF has been brutal to Ryno. Trashed him up and down. But despite that, so many here expect some team to accept the same player (and his contract) that so many have trashed here! Y'all are playing yourselves.

    What if a deal is already agreed but they're just waiting for a contract to be tradable?

    Why would Utah ever do that? Gobert is their only shot at having a cornerstone player. That would never happen, that package isn't nearly enough.
