Pg said he and Russ will discuss at the end of the season what they will do on the woj or manic podcast? Pg knows Russ isn't signing now?
I'd be surprised if anyone wanted Westbrook on their super team. When he can't take all the shots and get all the stats his game looks considerably less impressive. He certainly doesn't play well with others and everyone knows it.
Clarkson gotta go if they want to sign WB, PG, & Bron.... but they could def replace him. Imagine this... Westbrook // Josh Hart Ball // Caldwell-Pope George // Ingram LeBron // Nance Jr. // Kuzma Lopez // Zubac // Bryant Would likely have to move Clarkson in a trade to also send out Deng's contract... Plus could sign & trade Randle if need be....
I doubt Russ would stay if PG leaves. And I doubt PG stays unless they win a championship or at least make it to the WCF. Basically it's unlikely either of these two will be in OKC uniforms after this upcoming season.
PG and Russ don't want to play together already. Both are waiting to see which one goes to LA first to avoid him. Bad signs... Haha
Westbrook (23 years old) -Harden (22 years old) -Durant (23 years old) And they never suited up for the same team again... The original SUPER TEAM 11:00 AM - 22 Aug 2017
This is why I rolled my eyes and yawned last summer when WB allegedly showed "commitment" and "loyalty" (according to some here) by signing the extension then. This is truly the put-up-or-shut-up moment. That all said, I expect him to sign and end the drama, which he clearly enjoys.
If some how the Lakers got great over night with a bunch of stars in the next off season I'll lose it. To this day I have never hated an organization as much. I consider them rivals.
Seems pretty obvious. Presti already made it clear (with Harden) that no one is untouchable, so why let them hold all the chips for a few extra million? Being the highest paid player in league history is cool, but you know what's cooler? Controlling your own destiny Thank goodness for Harden (and Mauri)
