    I didn't say he does .

    But how is it holding a guy hostage if you are willing to trade him , but just not to a team offering a **** package ( that he happens to want to go to) ?

    Melo isn't obliged to waive his NTC to go play somewhere .

    But the Knicks aren't "holding him hostage" by not taking Ryan Anderson for him .

    Anderson has 60 million left on his deal man.

    1. Apples to oranges PG does not have an NTC. Big difference. If you want to compare some thing to our situation compare a STAR with NTC who was traded
    2. Pacer's had the whole league to choose from but Pacers still didn't even get half PG's value in return. What they got is simply the best value on the table.

    The way the knicks has treated Carmelo, they are holding him hostage. He has all the right to be disgruntled and it's not a bad look on the knicks to other players especially stars in the league.

    So either they take a ryno pkg or a pkg from multiple teams or they just buy him out.
