    In each of those scenarios, the team pulled off the trade because of the return. They didn't do it to meet the demands.

    No crud. There are no new developments. For all we know, Melo still wants to be here. I remain optimistic. It's not like 500 is some arbitrary number we pulled out of a hat. We'll get there when we get there. It will be glorious.

    I think if its a straight up Houston New York deal its gonna have to be something like Ryno/Gordon/Qi/pick(s) for Melo/Lee. Sucks to lose gordon but melo is an upgrade over ryno and lee may be a drop off from gordon but i think he'd be poised to have a decent season if on the rockets

    Yes, but I still want to keep Gordon, I am sure Houston want to keep Gordon, too. He has been great last year. He was important. Without him, we would not had a great record. Trading him away for Melo means we won't win the trade. I know Melo is a better player than Gordon. But if you want a championship, we have to keep Gordon and try to get Melo. Thats what Houston is doing right now.

    Ryno+filler for Melo or just move on

    I'd rather have Ryno and Gordon than just Melo

    Gordon can give u 20+ off the bench on any given night, we need that
