Trump will become my hero when he completely tanks the Republican Party and they have to rebuild through the draft.
I don't think Mitch was suggesting he would quit. I was a "No way he doesn't serve out 4 years" guy but there are now 3 tracks emerging: 1) He resigns to avoid embarrassment 2) The FBI probe leads to impeachment 3) His cabinet invokes the 25th amendment and boots him from office
wouldn't it be great if Democrats take control and you have to pay 95 percent corporate tax for your business?
1. That won't happen. 2. I'm not a democrat. While in college I was vice chair of my schools college republicans then when Sarah Palin was nominated VP I shifted towards supporting Ron Paul. I still consider myself a fiscal conservative, but the party has left me by nominating terrible candidates like Trump.
Democrats have "no vision for the country other than total socialism and maybe a step beyond socialism"
Would make sense as McConnell is now going to be brought in front of Mueller and maybe Congress to testify about what Trump told him on the 8th, and if he's saying that, and the fact that Trump went after him for a week afterwards, shows that McConnell likely told Trump to screw off and he will likely tell the truth to Mueller as to not purger himself. Which means obstruction is looking more and more likely. Asking your Senate majority leader to potentially put himself in criminal danger turns out isn't that smart of a thing to do. I have no doubt McConnell would do it for a Republican president but we'd never in a million years know about it. The fact that he allowed this to get out there today FROM REPUBLICAN sources tells us all we need to know. Sounds like Republicans are letting Mueller do his job and are prepping to embrace whatever bad news he has or they are playing a public game here to threaten Trump in order to reel him in.
