I just found out Texas is getting another eclipse in 2024. I'll wait for that one.

Just looked at the sun for like 10 minutes straight and didn't see anything. In fact it just got more and more blurry the longer I stared.

    This eclipse is so overrated.

It won't be a total eclipse, but yes. And it started about 45 minutes ago and will peak around 1:15pm. I just went out on my lunch break and saw it briefly. Clouds are really messing up viewing at the moment.

Seattle, WA here. Not total eclipse but about 92% coverage here. I tried to take a pic of it inside my cereal box viewer, but it came out really fuzzy. For some reason I could see the eclipse with the naked eye in my viewer, but my camera wouldn't show the shadow.

It's already started. It's about 1/3 covered by the moon right now.

I imagine a cell phone camera will have a hell of time focusing on the sun and the shadow correctly. It's the same reason why cell phones have trouble with night time photos.

Good luck with the apocalypse that accompanies the eclipse. Oregon is a wasteland now. Tijuana north.

Currently constructing a Thunderdome for my neighborhood.

What a failure in Carbondale! The hype was real to see the longest totality and the clouds said "f**k all yall"

That was hilarious watching that live. I feel so bad for all those people who bought tickets.
