People are naive if they think the Bucks are really ordering Giannis around. They do not have any leverage here whatsoever. Giannis has all the leverage. He's their superstar. And you don't want to ruin the relationship with your superstar. If you expect him to stay on the team after the current contract expires... He can also start demanding for a trade too.

If Yugoslavia still existed, they would have a pretty awesome team...

How can he start demanding a trade, when he's under contract until 2021?

Greek officials state they have a medical report that shows no harm whatsoever on Giannis' knee, while the NBA says, several examinations confirm the injury. We're not running out of drama this summer.

    Bosnia also

It's basically Jokic, Nurkic, Marjanovic, Saric, Kalinic, Musa, Bojan Bogdanovic, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Doncic, Goran Dragic, Teodosic, Markovic

Teodosic out as well. My excitement flattens. Too bad, because this is the only international tournament on a higher level in which you don't know from the start who's gonna win.

Donatas doesn't look great yet, but he looks really healthy and strong which is nice to see.

It's a bummer that he really hasn't figured out that jumper yet. He was getting oh so close with the Rockets before the tailspin.

I wish I could upload a gif of that moment where DMo put Porzingis into a popcorn machine. Looked like a DMo from 2014-15. That being said, he's still quite rusty and is trying to figure out his role on that team.

They all look out of shape, but if they figure that out - I can see Lithuania playing in the finals..

I wouldn't say Lithuania is a contender. Especially not after Lekavicius broke his foot and will be sidelined for 2 months.

Other than France and Spain, who are your favourites? Lithuania has played some good team basketball the last tournaments, they know how to win. Quarter finals should be the minimum and then it's all about matchups.

Latvia definitely seems like a dark horse. This year I would put them ahead of Lithuania.

Kristaps will definitely want to win for a change and with Giannis and Teodosic out, he's a front-runner for the MVP title. Just don't see the quality in the whole team to make it to the semis.
