Knicks, Rockets working on Carmelo Anthony trade scenarios

lol, talk about pipe dreams. Going along with it though, the thing I like the most about adding someone like Wade is that it brings everyone's minutes down. If Harden, Gordon, CP3 and wade got equal time at both guard spots, everyone would play 24 minutes. More realistically, Wade and Gordon play closer to 20 and Harden/CP3 play more like 28.

The downside though: Wade will surely expect his role/time to go up in the playoffs when he turns it on. Will he be upset if that doesn't always happen?

 

It would probably be similar to last year when we ran a 4 guard lineup of Harden, Beverley, Williams and Gordon. Sometimes we ran two of them together, sometimes we ran three. Wade is more than capable of playing the three in certain lineups.

Maybe the Wade news opens up the possibility we add Gordon to the mix in the Melo trade?

Now if wade is bought out quickly and signs with us quickly, then maybe. And at that point I think it's more about a bid for lebron then anything else.

Like anything of this nature, the insider can be legit, but most of the stuff they hear probably won't be. As long as they're not like cnn or wapo and think every source is telling the truth, it's good.
