Lamest cash in of all time. I'm not upset with it but damn, that was sad. I wonder if the plan is for Corbin over Cena and Nak over Mahal, then Corbin vs Nak at the next PPV.
I sure hope not. I've seen enough of Corbin vs. Shinsuke. I want Nakamura to be in matches with someone good. I personally love how dumb that cash-in made him look. I really dislike Corbin both in the ring and on the mic.
Who would a champion Nak face then if not Corbin? The loser of the US Title match? Randy Orton? Chris Jericho?
Corbin sucks so much so I'm happy he lost. I really hope they put the title on Nak and he keeps it until Mania and AJ wins the rumble. That would make up for it if we have to deal with Roman winning the Universal Title at Mania.
"I just lost the US Title match so I deserve a shot at the WWE title." I suppose they could just have the Nak/Mahal rematch at the next PPV. Besides, I think KO will fight Shane soon.
Think it will be something like KO attacks Shane at the SD after Summerslam. KO/Shane inside HIAC and if KO wins he is the #1 contender for the title and if he loses he is suspended or something like that.
Yeah that would work. I kinda want Roode on SD and he could challenge Nak right away but they probably need him in NXT.
With the recent influx of talent into NXT, I have to believe that Roode is bound for the main roster soon. Same with Drew McIntyre since he already has main roster experience. NXT is just too packed with guys who could conceivably be in the title picture. On the subject of NXT, Asuka has to lose to Ember Moon right? It's really beyond time to get her up to the main roster.
I wouldn't be opposed to having Asuka leave NXT undefeated. But also Moon is great so I'd be ok with her getting a W on Asuka.
Drew McIntyre/Bobby Roode was a classic and probably the best TakeOver main event out of the last 3-4 TakeOvers. Then there's Adam Cole and rED Dragon
Best show of the year for WWE. All that is needed to be done for the main roster to be amazing again is to just hire Triple H and get rid of Vince and his staff. Cleary they no nothing of the what's going on in wrestling in 2017.
AWESOME match and definite MOTY contender. Ember's reaction when Asuka kicked out of the Eclipse was priceless And as has become the norm every year, NXT Takeover Brooklyn is far above anything the main roster is doing and SummerSlam has its work cut out for it
Every match on Takeover was really good. Just a great show. Summerslam on the other hand...the best match was the Smackdown tag titles match, which was relegated to the pre-show. Universal title match was a really fun match, almost solely due to Braun Strowman. I just love seeing that guy destroy people. Having Lesnar go over was pretty much the worst outcome, though. I can't get behind having the belt on a part-timer who can only perform 2 moves. If I never had to watch him in a match again, I'd be very happy.
LMFAO..... I'm not a big fan of Nakamura... I don't even understand how they put him over the likes of John Cena, Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe (during Nxt) but having Jinder Mahal be the first one to pin him on the main roster....TRAGIC.. I only watched two full matches (fatal 4 way & Smackdown tag team) and two half matches (AJ styles because of Aj Styles and Raw Tag Team), skipped the rest because of how boring the show was..
