Murder and violence is down in the US every year on average. How have policies changed regarding gay marriage and mar1juana in the last 20 years? How many of the top 30-40 economies have been at war since WWII?? (It's zero)

Where many years ago people of different ethnicities could not even get married. What do you think the %'s of interracial couples has progressed each decade since the 1950's???

Things change gradually and Trump and the ******* white power folks, along with the BLM (with whatever % of them that are actual racists) grow smaller in numbers all the time. I promise you that.

I am white, my 7 year old son's mother is Mexican. He has never heard the word ******, or anything else racist from what I know his entire life spoken in his home. He never will. Obviously when he is older a joke is one thing, a statement with maliciousness is another.

There are many problems in this world, hopefully humanity will continue progressing to a better future as they have been.

I think a lot of what you are saying just goes to there being no justification for the craziness and IMO that just makes the fact that it exists anyway that much worse.

But at some point, it's a mistake to keep trying to reach his base and alienate more and more of the rest of the country. I know I'm in a bubble out here, but so many of my more conservative friends, nationwide, are digusted, really in disbelief, at the presser today.

His base would applaud if he went up there and had 20 minutes of loud, optically verified sharts. (Might even be better than his statements today, TBH.) They really would. So why he doesn't spend even five seconds trying to reach anyone else is really baffling. More and more republicans will start backing away from him. It's just too much.
