I do wonder what the reaction by the left would have been if people on the right went after Obama blaming him for the BLM terrorists who were killing cops. I wonder if they'd be upset about CEO's publicly blaming him for those incidents.

I'm sure they wouldn't have minded, after all, they aren't complete partisan hacks right?

BTG, most - including Republicans- are calling him out b/c he refused to call out the white supremacists. This is the same guy who made a HUGE deal out of Obama not calling out Radical Islamic Terrorists.

Black Lives Matter and the White Supremacists are not the same. Regardless of the fact that people on both sides get carried away, you can't equate the two movements. In order to understand this, you have to know a black person really, really well. Like someone who is a best friend, or relative, or someone like that. Because that's the only way you're going to understand.- not make excuses for every thing, but understand.

Mine was working for 6-8 months in a pizza delivery only place with a delivery driver who happened to be black. Most nights, it was just me and him. So, on nights when you have hours with zero deliveries, you inevitably wind up talking. And I asked a lot of questions about being black in America. It really wakes you up. You really can't know unless you've been there- like most things.

Now, before you all get to the "blah, blah, blah, they're going to make excuses like that forever...." just take a second and realize it really is a thing. And though, yes, people can take Black Lives Matter to an extreme, it is by no means equivalent to white supremacism, no matter how much you want them to be on equal footing.

I mean, at their core, one is a movement for equality and the other is a movement for preventing equality. One is a movement trying to pull up people who are under-represented, under-served, and over-criminalized. The other is a movement trying to push them down even further.

I really don't get the comparison, at all.

The problem is that isn't really true. The very first thing he said about it was that he condemned hatred, bigotry, and violence which clearly would be condemning the white supremacists, but the problem is that he initially didn't stop there, he also condemned the other hateful and violent groups that were there. That's what really upset everyone. What's funny about this is that Obama can call out innocent police officers as part of his response to the BLM shooters and that's not a big deal but Trump, who is a simpleton, catches sh*t for speaking out against all violent parties.

It just seems odd to hold an idiot like Trump up to a much higher standard than you held the last president to.

They aren't identical, no, but they are both radical identitarian groups and as such, they are the problem.

As to "knowing black people", why would you assume that I don't? Why would you assume that I'm not related to black people? Not that it matters, but I do have black people in my family. Doesn't make my opinion any more or less valid.

BLM was founded by extremists to be an extremist movement similar to the Black Panthers which was a supremacist group. Now, sure, it's not actually a coherent group as it's more of a lose movement, and as such not every gathering under that umbrella is going to be supremacist in nature.....but that was the intent by those who started the movement. You can deny it if you like, but the evidence is out there and it's pretty clear. Leaders within the movement have been quoted saying things like how white people are "genetic defects" that should be wiped out, that instance specifically was a lovely woman named Yusra Khogali if you are interested in looking it up.

Now sure, they have MUCH better PR and their racism is much more culturally acceptable than that of the other identitarians, but they are really no better. They are infected with the same disease.

Either you are completely ignorant of those around Trump, or you know and choose to lie. Which one is it?

Native americans are shaking their heads. They should be the original "maga".
and there are also streets and statues here in the U.S of the Legendary Simon Bolivar, great latin american revolutionary the likes of which the world has never seen since.
But these confederate statues, well, I like my beautiful statues to be winners. Believe me, Remove all Custer monuments and replace them with Sitting Bull, a true champion. Since when do we celebrate losers? Are we going to reign in the Buffalo bills from the 90s. Winners only. That much I can tell you.

    Best regards.

    There is no comparison.

BLM, with all it's issues, is saying our lives matter.

For WS, no lives matter except for us. And that us definition is narrower than just White, but a particular White.

There are some that intentional lies, knowing well they are doing it to equate, or put the two in the same category. It's the same equivalent b.s. we see quite a bit now-a-day. When you flatten the world of facts, opinion and lies to the same plane, you can make everything look the same and your lies or alternative reality has already won. Truth and basic fact are no longer a given, but needed to be defended. That's the game. Some do it intentionally, some aren't even aware they are doing it, but many, way too many fall for it.

    Trump didn't organize the rally

    Trump isn't a white nationalist

Now people protesting Trump on this I'm sure will go a long way

No argument with any of this. Still five police officers were shot at their rally

This is one of my issues with BLM, they are there just to make noise about things well covered by the media. People march they go home.

But honestly I just don't have the same view of all the police shootings. I think that kid in Ferguson in particular was a violent person

BLM acts like black people never run into the law in situations that forces law enforcement's hand

We unfortunately still lead in crime statistics and its not close

Amazes me to what level Trump supporters continue to defend the indefensible...

Do you think that is why Trump is being criticized and protested against? Because no one has accused Trump of organizing the rally. I know, its a defense mechanism.

Well, that one can be questioned. But OK, let's give Trump the benfit of the doubt, but he surrounded himself with advisers (Bannon, Gorka, Miller) that if they are not actual white nationalists, at least they support many of the same beliefs and to some degree these appear in policies they suggest to Trump.

People are criticizing and protesting Trump largely for his response to the white nationalist rally and violence/injuries/deaths that resulted from the rally. This will pressure Trump to address the issue and make policy changes. It is also causing CEOs of large corporation to act as well. So it already has gone a ways.

Yes, they regained prominence because the racists got pissed off that we elected a black president.

You really like insults don't you? You realize they only convince people that you're bereft of intelligent discussion, right?

How can anyone have an ounce of respect for news organization like Breitbart and Fox. These clowns have 0 interest in reporting news, their goal is to create division.
