    Is Littlefinger on her list?

I don't recall her ever saying that. I don't think anyone on Team Stark knows that Littlefinger betrayed Eddard and they don't know that he is really the one who put all of this in motion. Bran maybe does or can figure out.

Anyway, Littlefinger is on course to get got this season and yes, that will be disappointing if he does. He's THE source of the entire war, so it will be less than satisfying for him to get wrapped up before the end. Was really hoping he'd make it to like the penultimate episode of the show, be revealed for the true monster of it all and get got then. But now that he's targeting Arya and Sansa, there's only one way this can end. There's no way the show is going to kill one of them at this time.

Welp, apparently I wasn't the only person (at least these were the ones I had the time to find) that made this assumption, because again it completely changes the stories future if bronn and jamie end up in dany's hands like the tarlys. Apparently that's not where the show decided to go.

But for both guys to somehow get swept away in the same current so conveniently is absurd. Like you said rivers are crazy and if in fact the river took them they would have most likely ended up on two completely different side of the river.

Stop making it seem like your mystical river isn't very mystical. The show is giving itself convenient trump cards to avoid certain things without much being explained besides bronn actually pulling jamie out of the river by the back of his armor.

C'mon man, you can't be this naive.

If I read reports right, the core 5 (Jamie,Dany,Jon,Tyrion,Cersei) will be making like 2.5 million per episode after bonuses now. That's not to mention the other Starks and the likes of Littlefinger, Varys, Brienne etc. All of that is before the actual production costs, which are state of the art at this point.

I imagine every episode is costing them 20 million at the least. Even with an abbreviated season, they are in Hollywood blockbuster territory. I imagine the shortened seasons are more related to that then any creative reason. They could have made 10 episodes out of this season and still had story to spare.

Thank you. This is my very point... convenience to something that could have been easily explained much better.

I'm off my river rant! Bring on the fu**in white walkers next Sunday!!!

Watching the preview...lol at them running away from the dead. We've seen the dead and how fast they move. It's so clear what will happen to end that episode. This is the most absurd strategy ever, so of course Tyrion came up with it haha!

Prediction: Dany makes the save at the end.

If that's not what happens and they actually manage to pull this mission off it will be the ultimate plot armor ever.

Cool scene though with Dondarion lighting the sword on fire.

Looks like it could be Sansa when she asks, "what are you scared of?"

I thought that was a pretty sweet trick too.. "Lord of the light! I AM HE-MAN!"... but if fire kills white walkers so effectively then you know the dragons are coming, so that's not a bad prediction.

My prediction is that they lead the walkers to Eastwatch and somehow snag one there. Isn't that were they're (white walkers) are headed anyway?

I just wanted the confrontation and having Tyrion make a choice or convince his queen. I would have bet Bronn would have died before last nights episode.

I have long accepted the fact that the realistic political and military stratrgy aspect is essentially over in favor of wrapping up a large story.

    Prediction:

Uncle Benjin to the rescue! He still out there.

Bran wargs into one of the dragons and saves the day...or the dragons feel Jon's in trouble and come rescue. That is the only way all of them survive.

They could have made these last 2 seasons into 3 movies and flesh out more details instead of cramming and rushing to end this. I'm thinking each movie will at least make 500mill each.

Yeah...the cinematographer said they cut that scene up and filmed it out of order to make the budget and planning fit.

Taking off the armor probably would have been an extra detail to track and likely mess up.

With Dany taking total control of the area, them sneaking off was too convenient...

Gotcha, you could have said "I don't know for sure" and been more convincing.

    My Prediction:

Jon grabs a wight next episode.
Dany brings wight to King's Landing as proof they exist.
Cersei doesn't care and takes Dany hostage. (End of season)

(Start of season 8) Jon has a decision to make:
1A) Go to King's Landing to save Dany.
    1B) Go fight Night King.

Jon decides to save Dany, they kill Cersei then they both jump on dragons and kill the Night King together.

They never find out they are related then proceed to have babies.

    The end.

Good news for them both...Incest is not a taboo with the Targaryons.

Agreed. He was a tactical genius in the first few seasons. He was the sole reason why King's Landing wasn't taken over by Stannis army. He kept Cersei in check up until the hit was put on him. He found a way to maintain his loyalty to the Lannister family while still being on good terms with opposition. He's even killed enemies on the battlefield in order to survive. He was BAMF.

In this season he's responsible for the massive army Dany had being split up. So instead of going straight to King's Landing and burning down Cersei's army there resulting in thousands of lives lost, his tactical skills have resulted in tens of thousands of lives lost from the extinction of the Tarly's, the Tyrell's, presumably no more Unsullied, almost no Greyjoys, no more Dorne and a severe weakening of Dany's remaining forces. Makes me think whether it was a good idea to nuke Japan. Did using the nukes result in more lives being saved by shortening the war despite the initial losses or would it have been better to let the war continue without resorting to nuclear warfare. I know the answer most historians give is that the nukes were justified under the reasoning that more lives were saved shortening the war than by letting it drag on further. Would it not have saved more lives just sending all three dragons on KL?

I also don't understand why he has a guilty conscious because she used Drogon on the Tarly's. She gave them a chance to live. They chose not to. It wasn't some form of sadism from Dany to torture them slowly. It was meant to show she follows through with what she says and by all accounts their deaths were probably as instant as a beheading given the ashes left of their bodies.

Also I didn't really like the scene between Varys and Tyrion. Varys felt really out of character, like a gossipy school girl just chatting away Westeros secrets over an espresso with an old friend back in town. What happened to his little birds, clairvoyance to be a few steps ahead and cryptic way of speaking to people? Seems like the show really wants you to know that Varys does not approve of Dany so far.

I'm still really enjoying this season but you can really tell the writing has diluted in quality.

Arya was my favorite Stark in Season 1, but, man, does she creep me out in Episode 5.

I have no problem with what you just said. All true and I agree (flawed life, wow), which makes me a bit pissed off that its the small things that they overlook just to show off a scene or save a character or Ed Sheeran.
