Howland Reed knows Jon's heritage. I am sure there are other people who know as well.He was there at the Tower of Joy.

Noticed it as well, but wasn't sure how that would get back to Jon when; 1, Sam has no idea who those people are in relation to Jon nor does he care and 2. if the proof was being read by Gilly and she left those records behind there's no way of proving it, even if it were to come up in a future episode. I was thinking maybe Sam Jr. could still have it but if I recall correctly Sam Sr. handed him the book he was reading.

What did the scroll say that was "signed" by Sansa under b**** fingers bed?

Also, is Tyrian becoming a little b**** himself? I get it he's trying to spare people's lives that could be allies but the Tarlys didn't want to bend the knee and it seemed like Tyrian didn't really comprehend how much this war between Cersei and Dany would affect his own countrymen and family.

Looks like they're going one for one with the last few episodes of the season, one episode of nothing but build up and the next of nothing but action and story progress.

Last thing, HOW THE F*** DID BRONN AND JAMIE END UP THAT FREAKIN FAR DOWNSTREAM? It literally looked as if Jamie was sinking into an abyss thanks to his heavy armor but they both manage to somehow float onto a "safe" shore with the heavy ass armor still on... that was a bit baffling.

I didn't mind the episode. Any episode without surprise Euron is a good episode to me.

In the Behind the Scenes videos, the showrunners recalled the first wight being brought into Castle Black. That gives Jon the idea that wights can go beyond the wall. He's had a hard time convincing anyone ever since their appearance.

Also the Arya and Littlefinger plot. The showrunners reveal that Littlefinger is aware that Arya is spying on him and set her up to find the scroll, likely to put a wedge between Arya and Sansa. Not sure why Littlefinger knows all, but he does.

The scroll was paraphrased earlier in the thread, but it was the message that Sansa sent to Robb pleading that he pledge loyalty to Joffrey and that Ned was a traitor. Sansa was coerced to write it by Cersei.

Bronn likely swam Jaime away from harm downstream. But how they walked back to King's Landing without being noticed/captured is beyond me.

They'll probably have already did the nasty by then and she'll be queen of the North anyway.

    Win-win. ;)

All these critics who still think they're in English class analysing things decades after graduating high school, hating the show.

Meanwhile, I'm over here with a childish grin on my face every Monday until I get home so I can watch the new episodes, and continually say how good they are.

Y'all should take a step back and realise you aren't grading student essays, you'll enjoy things a lot more.

for the first time this episode reminded me of late-period walking dead...and that is not a good thing.

they did some lazy, silly plot tricks to drive the story along...the whole quest for a white walker so they can convince cersi...that is straight out of the walking dead/rick grimes playbook of wtf longshots.

and how did jamie and bron swim a mile in armor? it could have been believable if they had gotten the armor off or perhaps a friendly boat picked them up. and nobody bothered to search for them?

sansa is who she always has been since the beginning when she lied to cover for joffrey instead of defending her sister. she has a major stick up her arse and littlefinger is pushing it up there even further.

remember when arya reminded briene that she pledged to protect both both daughters of lady stark...i think briene is going to end up having to choose b/t them.

Agreed and if I wasn't looking so forward to that epic battle, I would have noticed those lazy plot tricks.

@Sanser .... the teaser for next episode has been given a tad away.

We have so many critics here, I think they rate how their breakfast, lunch and supper would be every day.

I know I'm weird, I always make a determination on whether the food I ate was good or not. I know, most people don't care how it tastes but some weird folks react to things they experience in life.

Anyway, show is moving at warp speed now (except for the White Walkers) so next episode will be action packed I would imagine.

That's fine that you're enjoying the show. Don't let us take that away from you.

But this show is a lot like how Steve Francis was for me. Came in in a big way that you couldn't help but feel optimistic about the future (especially after I read the books to appreciate the TV show more). And then you see some cracks that at first you try to ignore, and then they became bigger and you defend them at first, until you became disappointed after so many times being let down.

Sorry the show is so terrible for you guys. I myself am enjoying the hell out of it, as are most. This show spent seasons building up and tearing down the characters. Now they are indulging themselves with the ones that made it through.

Dany should have taken the throne in the first episodes, and then they fight the dead. The dead aren't really capable of much character development, so it likely happens quickly as well. Should have taken 4 or 5 episodes. Realistic writing is rarely entertaining. But I want more, as do most fans. So entertainment at the expense of completely logical plotting is fine by me.

Pretty sure Arya is going to impersonate that girl Baelish was paying to do his spying, and we won't know it until she plunges the dagger into his heart or something unexpected like that.

Obviously Dany could just take three dragons, torch the entire white walker army and then fly back down and take Kings Landing. All this other stuff is totally unnecessary.

The Jamie/River thing is silly. Let's review.

This is a sci-fi fantasy show about Dragons and lords and ladies and a 3 eyed raven and a guy who can change faces and snow zombies and giants and female rulers. Jamie falling into a river registers as "unbelievable" though. And how did he get down stream? Uh, yeah. IT'S A FKN RIVER. They need Jamie to live, so he lives. Y'all act like a 10 ft. deep river or a current is where the line of reality is drawn, I suggest getting over it. UH OH PLOT HOLE??? Naw. It's actually one of the more realistic things that happened in the last two episodes lol

Also, they are wyverns but whatever.
