    And I'm sure if Melo would start having any change of heart, CP3 would know, which means DM would know...I'm certain Melo has notified (not directly) DM that he's not budging on waiving his no-trade clause to Houston only...So DM is being is patient/ not budging...

    My only concern is that Melo just gets tired of waiting and wants to go into the season knowing where he will play, living, etc.

    Woj works for ESPN now so he's just creating a lil' drama. Up until this point Melo has not opened up his options beyond Houston.

    thing is, if he went to Portland we probably would never hear that he is opening up to other teams, it will probably just be done

    sure portland already has a deal on the table just incase

    Melo ditched us in the past....why would he not do it again? Would like to have Melo, but no major loss if he goes elsewhere, as Anderson (while worse than Melo overall) is a much better fit for the Dantoni offense and we can use our first round pick down the road to help acquire a younger star.

    Melo didn't ditch us. He just took the grand tour because he wanted the experience. His pick was always the Knicks, but just like Portland fans are wetting their pants because there is "piquing" interest, clutchfans felt the same way at those times. His pick is Houston and it's been said loud and clear now, everything else is just smoke. Whether the trade actually happens is a whole other story.

    Let's settle this: Take every Rockets player and every Blazers player under contract now and play one game against each other. If Rockets win, Portland facilitates a Melo deal. If Blazers win, Melo expands his list to the Blazers.
