Portland with Melo would miss the playoffs this year.

    - Melo may be a star, but he is still just a single player and not a superstar
    - Anderson's contact is not horrible. I have no problem going into next season with either him or his contract.
    - Gordon is a borderline star when healthy and losing him along with a competent stretch 4 is too big a price to pay for Melo.

    Ugh, typical.

This: "The Houston Rockets and New York Knicks have re-engaged in talks regarding a trade for Carmelo Anthony. Although the Trail Blazers' players are recruiting Anthony for themselves, Anthony remains firm in his commitment to play for the Rockets only".

Becomes this: "The Houston Rockets and New York Knicks have re-engaged in talks regarding a trade for Carmelo Anthony. But the Trail Blazers' players are heavily recruiting Anthony for themselves and just might get him: KEEP HOPE ALIVE!"

The Sports Illustrated basketball guys have been saying Chris Paul will leave us for the Spurs since the day after he signed.

There is most definitely an anti Houston bias in the media, outside of the clear Houston affiliated people (JVG, et al.)

Apparently they have nice hipster vibe to the city. Plus the Nike HQ.

It is true that people nationally are not big fans of the Rockets and a LOT of national people are pretty convinced that the CP3 thing is a one year experiment.

Zeke is a needle mover in a major way. Melo rumors again to Houston are not. This is like people who complain that the Yankees get too much coverage on national tv. Those execs cover what people will watch. They only care about ratings.

Portland is like Austin West. Think they have the highest percentage of under employed college grads.

Melo in a Rockets uniform will be so amazing. They will release fire & fury on the NBA. It will be a fit the likes of which the world has never seen.

Hard to imagine that anyone could be this delusional... even for a D-list 'celebrity'.

For his sake, I really hope he's just shitty at trolling.

Isn't that a quote from about 3 weeks to a month ago or so?
    Seems I've heard it before.

Portland with Melo is eerily similar to Scottie Pippen's blazers. They had one good year and then self destructed, but that one good year was legit lol until [IMG]
