    The Knicks, meanwhile, are still trying to find a resolution for their Carmelo problem before training camp convenes in September. As the Daily News reported, Anthony is committed to landing with the Houston Rockets and holds sway over his future because of the no-trade clause. The power forward has shut down the Knicks attempts to get him to accept a deal elsewhere.

    If Anthony can get to his preferred destination before opening night, he’ll start his Rockets career against the Warriors on Oct. 17. The Rockets then play at the Thunder on Christmas.     ​

    When you boil it down, pretend Ryan Anderson is on the Knicks and they're trying to find the best possible return for him.

    **** Dolan for acting like a b**** this whole time. He thinks he's building his image as a smart owner who "won't just let Anthony walk for penny's"

    I get it that most teams would want a high return but their organization already looks like **** the past 10 years, and now he wants to act like he's got the balls to bring him back

    Everyone would respect him more if he just said "unfortunately the Melo and Jackson experiment didn't pan out and as a organization we would like to move forward as a franchise. It's mutually beneficial for both parties and we would like to wish Melo the best in the final stretch of his career"

    Would look like a classy organization

    According to my sources, Utah is the third team.

    With non shooters like Ricky Rubio, Gobert and favors on the team, jazz are in need of a stretch 4 that can create space like Anderson.
