no idea why you're trying to put down cp3. but if that's the case, the finals appearance of harden obviously isn't on his own team and his only wcf appearance well we know where he was sitting at one of the most critical times in that series. not nearly enough to distinguish a difference bw him and cp3
what has OKC reached after harden left? nothing take last year, CP3 had a better team around him but still got beat by the Jazz. while harden, with no superstar nor allstar around him and the rockets who ranked lower compared to clippers and OKC in the offseason finished 3rd seed overall, beat MVP led team in the 1st round, and then lost to 2nd seeded spurs pretty sure CP3 left the clippers and joined harden and the rockets because he wanted to have playoff success
umm okc didn't exactly fall off when harden left. might want to check on that again. oh did cp3 have a better team around him? i guess you didn't take into account blake griffin didn't play after game 3. after him the drop off in talent is drastically bad. yes lets rely on DJ to be the 2nd scorer, that's terrible
they never reached the finals again. check on that again. yeah he did.. wanna check out the pre season rankings?
so what. they reached nothing less than the wcf when KD and WB were both healthy. there's nothing wrong with that. oh ok pre season rankings are facts now. you should definitely study those. did you really just use pre season rankings as a tool lol
Don't even compare it in the same realm. Hardens was the worsr ever. Worse than bron, tmac. Paul didn't quit. He just ain't what he thinks he is
Actually, OKC has gone farther than the Rockets since trading Harden. They were 1 game away from the NBA Finals. The closest we've gotten is 3 games away from the Finals. #facts
Some very interesting debates. I have a question for the Rockets fans. From a performance standpoint, what would you want Chris Paul to accomplish this season (PPG, APG, 3PT%, etc)? Obviously asking for the team goal is a championship, or at the very least to get past GSW.
Great post. This is where I wanted him to be as well when he was with the Clippers, but as you can see his averages fell close to what you posted up on your realistic expectation. For the Rockets to make it past the best in the NBA Paul needs to be closer to the guy you ideally wanted. There is a chance it can happen because different lineups have different results. Perhaps with Harden taking most of the defensive attention, Paul may be more free to do a little more damage offensively.
Lol why do sides always have to be picked? Let them play first. Although I'll say without hesitation, I've never questioned cp3's effort..
LOL mavs fan moving goal posts.. I said OKC got worse when Harden left.. had nothing to do with harden.. they were always more talented they had kd and wb.. we only had harden.. when harden was there they made the finals when harden left they never did again and then kd left too
LOL so what do you base the fact who is better? post season rankings? playoff success? then harden is better you can't have it both ways clippers fan..
