Don't worry, Crane isn't tight on the budget and Luhnow didn't screw up the trade deadline .... this is all an effort to extend our window to compete by hoarding "B" level prospects.

Yeah this is the perfect storm of bringing the player's morale down. Keuchel and LMJ injured again. LMJ comes back and sucks Harris injured LMJ injured again. Then Springer and Correa get injured. Devo sucking. McHugh comes back and sucks. Horrible trade deadline. Keuchel calls out management and then proceeds to be complete garbage. Guy we acquired at trade deadline is a fat bum meanwhile Dodgers got Yu Darvish.
At this point I am curious to see what, if anything they do. Injury issues for Dallas and Lance were a known concern coming into this season and up until the deadline and they were not addressed even with options available at a reasonable cost. For as good as Luhnow has done in free agency and the draft, the last month has not been his finest hour. Do the Astros make changes in the rotation and pen? Promote/demote in an effort to jump start the team? Do they just keep running the same group out there so no one thinks they panicked? Do they wake a large deal they otherwise never would have made? Even with a move, are we good enough to win if Dallas is bad?
Can we bring in an assistant GM responsible for the trade deadline? We'll let Luhnow protect a certain number of prospects, but have no say otherwise. It'd be fun just to watch him sweat it out to see if his preciouses he didn't protect get traded
This pains me to say but Ken Giles and Peacock is liteally the only good pitchers we have at the moment
Astros do not have the pitching needed to win even one playoff series. The starting rotation is just going pouring gas on the field and flicking matches. The bull pin is unreliable as ****. This is troubling
McCann and Beltran can start earning that steady veteran leadership money now. Because this inexperienced, immature team is trying to fall apart. Momentum is tomorrow's starting pitcher...
