Kid is very impressive. Scary how good he will become once comfortable in this offense. Foreman looks good as well

Yep, he shoulda made that throw. Not bad showing from him overall except his two down field throws. Not sure who the second over/under throw was to.

You do realize that you are giving him credit for things he's got nothing to do with right?

My premature take...Watson is better than Savage....

Not that I'm complimenting Watson but Savage man reminds me of all our previous QBs...

It's like what @justtxyank said...it seems like he's playing behind and it looks like Watson just gets it.

Looks like all we're going to get out of Savage in this offense is a game manager...which I guess will win us a lot of games if our defense is dominant.

Well they can get worse since they were the second worst offense last year

RB is going to be a brutal cut.

Miller/Ervin/Foreman are locks. Hunt deserves to make the team, but honestly, despite my distaste for him, Blue does as well.

He's still there helping out with the play calls, they just changed his job title, not his job.

Watson is decent on the quick short passes. I'd like to see him complete a down the field pass though, at least throw it accurately.

And you think we were going to win a Super Bowl with Fitzpatrick or a first time starter on Savage? We literally won a playoff game last year that's more than like 25 teams in the league can say

So far, Watson is at his best when he's on the run and at his worst when he's in the pocket.

Right. I'm not saying he should start because I'm aware that some guys just aren't ready, but I do think it's clear that Watson is the better player. I don't care what Braddock says about Savage, I don't think see it with him. He may have a great arm, but nothing happens when he's out there. It's like getting in a beautiful car and then you press the gas and it has a lawn mower engine.

Nothing to do with? He is the head ****ing coach of the team!

Who do you think hired Romeo Crennel? Who do you think brought in Mike Vrabel? Who was the coach when we drafted Jadeveon Clowney?

Did you guys forget we were literally the worst team in the NFL before he got here?

Im ok with Savage starting in front of Watson if only to give Watson some experience without messing with his confidence. I love his pocket awareness

Watson did look better than savage today imo.

Arm strength looks good, needs to work on placement on deeper throws..

Learning to play in the pocket is what he will be doing his rookie year. He'll be OK.
