Preseason Game One: Texans vs. Panthers

The defense carried them like it always has. Kubiak has actually coached better offenses.

 

He is horrible based on...?

 

John Harris talks too much.

 

Oh sure... the head coach is holding us back because we haven't had a damn QB! We were never going to compete with New England

 

Against defenders who won't play much for the Panthers. He did decent. I like Savage. Do I think he's going to be better than what we had last year? Probably just the same.

Watson isn't ready either. He just shows more life. The flare is there. He will take time to learn. I can live with Savage all year. I still predict us 6-10. 3rd in the division.

 

Again, the offense has gotten worse every season since BOB has been here despite going out and getting his guys. At what point are you going to stop making excuses for him?

 

For years he's been telling me how great the Texans all look and how we're going to be so impressed with what OBrien is doing with the offense. Haven't seen it yet.

 

Doesn't matter what it looked like! Back to the playoffs!

 

I think he actually over threw the underneath receiver

 

His offense is trash... Crennel gets the credit. O Brien needs Tom Brady without him he's a medicore coach.

 

Looked like he overthrew the intermediate route and didn't see Strong wide open

 

You guys were probably the same ones saying Kubiak could never win a SB and look at him now... we have overachieved and you guys should be happy.

Can you even name all the players that have played QB over the past 2 seasons??

 

This is a huge year.

In general I am with you. He keeps managing to get rid of a QB that isn't cutting it and get worse. It's hard to believe it could actually be worse this year though lol.

 

Street can't be missing passes like that if he wants to make the team.

 

I know who can name them, Bill Obrien since he picked them all.
