You have an opinion and we (Rockets fans) have a different opinion about this situation. Why is our position on the topic delusional? You sound like you have a personal stake in this trade not going down. You're probably going to cry when we get Melo huh?

Melo loves NY. The only reason the Cavs and Rockets were attractive is because they were contenders WITH a banana boat friend on the roster. If he can't get that he will stay in the city he forced his way to, where his kid is at.

Jalen said a couple times today Melo should go to OKC. He's also said it in past episodes.

What will be your starting line to start the conversation to convince him?

Melo does NOT want to go to a team that's just doing well. He wants to go to a top 2 team in the league. So he will not open up to other teams. He wants to win a title and I believe that. He has all the money in the world and precious few years left in his prime. He will give it all that he's got and lay it all out every possession, every game. He also knows LBJ is likely not staying in Cleveland and could possibly form banana boat by coming to Houston along with Dwade.

As unlikely as all this seems, how many of us thought we had a chance to pry Harden from OKC and later bring in CP3?

LBJ has a legitimate shot at tying Kobe or MJ in ring totals in the twilight-prime of his career playing meaningful b-ball.

Melo has a shot at multiple titles, and the satisfaction of taking down the top dog Warriors instead of joining the top dog in a ring chasing coat-tail like KD did. Satisfaction can also come in not being a great player with a big "BUT(t)", like Barkley with no ring. Barkley pun intended.

I dont think rockets gonna get melo. You can just pressure melo to sit on the knicks bench, or get traded to the highest bidder. What would you like a year off of work, and bunch of dragging crap, on how they are paying this baby 25 million to ride the bench, or maybe go somewhere like portland where you can atleast help Lillard and Cj try to get into the playoffs in the west. Id goto portland and move on, he could always opt out right next summer?

The new front office by all accounts is very intelligent. It is the ownership that is the issue.

Ch44 is right. Talks with Utah have occurred weeks ago. Favors has no future in Utah. Jazz have excellent D in the middle to accommodate for Anderson's deficiencies. And they need a shooter.

It's one of several options laying on the Knicks platter.

Every new front office is very intelligent by all accounts, until it's proven they are not. Don't forget that Mills has been the GM all along.

Knicks are looking for capspace NEXT SUMMER..... not now. The big free agents are gone for this year. Knicks are targeting next summer. That's why they don't want Anderson...........UNLESS...........unless they can unload Noah.
