No I think I got the point of it, I still think it is up there with the dumbest of threads. As multiple people have noted, being married and playing golf with the President does not equal better on the basketball court. If James golfed, I bet you anything they would play together. But beyond the stupid golf thing, you are equating morality with being better. Argue him being more prepared and focused and I think you might have an argument but he has already gotten farther than CP3 ever has. I think they will work together just fine and seem to want to. CP3 didn't agree to come here with the clause that James settle down.

If Kobe and Jordan were not "bad people per se", then you have no reason to refer to Harden being a bad person.

As far as being in a club after losing a series....... you would be wrong. How do you feel about Tim Duncan? Did you know he hit the club after losing game 7 in the 2015 playoffs against the Clippers?

When the Clippers lost to the Thunder in the elimination game, some of the Clippers that night partied WITH the Thunder in 2015.

    Your great Chris Paul?

HE PARTIED THE NIGHT THAT THE CLIPPERS WERE ELIMINATED IN 2017!!

    So did Paul Pierce!

    Just give it up OP...............

We just need Curry to channel his inner MJ and quit basketball for 2 years to chase his golf aspirations.

This is where Obama comes in.

Judgmental people get on my last nerve. Worry about yourself. What Harden does off the court is none of your damn business. He's a grown man. He likes to party, go to concerts, and go to strip clubs. So what?!?

First of all, basketball is and always will be a game. Plain and simple. I never brought God into the equation. I think we as fans, more importantly, we should want our kids to look up to someone who holds himself in high regard. This debate has been debated for years. Charles Barkley said, he doesn't think fans should see him as a role model but he later recanted that statement.

All athletes; NBA Players, NFL Players, Baseball Players, etc. should be held to a higher regard. No Harden hasn't been arrested, been suspended for drug use, none of those things BUT I do think that by not showing up for an elimination playoff game falls into that category.
In the sense that his image has been tarnished....similar to T-Mac and his playoff failures and other players and their failures.

No, I don't think that CP3 is better than Harden. Like I said previously, I think Harden is a top 3 NBA Player but he needs to start to change his image if he wants to reach the level he aspire. He needs to start playing consistent defense, being a visual and vocal leader, as well as putting the Hoes aside until after the season.....TRUST ME THEY'LL STILL BE AT THE CLUB WHEN THE SEASON IS OVER.

It's my business when I spend my money on season and playoff tickets and he doesn't show up because he was at the party, going to a concert or a strip club the night before. Once he steps foot on that court, I feel as though he owes me 100%. That's what I paying for, not what I saw in Game 6 against The Spurs

Did I understand this correctly? If CP3 was to act like Harden's daddy then we will win championships?

Get over yourself. He gave us an MVP caliber season and the 3rd seed with no other all star on the roster. What is Harden doing off the court that many NBA players aren't? Stop talking about him conforming to some lifestyle that you think is right and worry about yourself.

I'm not saying it did or did not happen but funny how you never hear about Duncan, CP3 or Paul Pierce being at the club before or after a game. Because they played HARD ALL the time. I can't say that about Harden. Once again, I'm a Rocket fan first and a Harden fan second and because he's a Rocket, that's the only reason I'll pay to see him play.

Like I said, when I pay my money, I deserve a better performance and when I don't get it, I have the right to complain.

yet u were nowhere to be found for 99% of the season while Harden was having a historical year and taking the Rockets to heights no one saw coming before the season started...

u are in here wanting CP3 to act like he's the dad Harden never had to get him to be a "better person" and get more "class and character"...foh

get over yourself man, Harden isn't doing anything that many players (including all time greats) haven't done

For every $10k you donate you increase a point in your season PPG. It's proven science. The ratio varies based on your skin color, weight, and height.

James Harden, if you're listening to this brilliant man, do the opposite of everything he says and you'll be successful unlike this bible thumping wave rider.

    Keep moving that goal post......

As far as Harden not playing hard, is that why he leads the NBA in minutes the last 4 years? Because he doesn't play hard?

Never hear about Duncan, CP3 or Pierce being at the club? That is because you are choosing not to hear it, it was reported by TMZ and other sources.

Know who else was criticized? LeBron James' effort against the Celtics in the ECF was criticized years ago. Tim Duncan was considered soft and someone that didn't show up in big games in pressure situations until he finally beat the Lakers. Chris Paul, he is still critcized for his playoff lack of success....

You don't like Harden because he is black, has a beard, likes big butts, goes to clubs and didn't grow up with a nuclear family. Yet he has avoided all the major pits falls thus far in his life and is very very successful. Maybe you should worry about how others perceive you and not James Harden.
