When the lights are on Watson>Savage

Can't wait for for plays to be run and options to not be available... Savage will suck and Watson will succeed. Offense will open up and things will get better overall.

It is disturbing to read Giacomini handling Watt

Is his back injury like a knee where the 2nd year is the realest recovery?

I'm not sure. I think with backs sometimes they are never the same (see Dwight)

Hopefully he's just working himself back after being out so long

I wouldn't worry about one drill. Even bad offensive linemen beat great defenders a good chunk of the time.

Why? Teams average 35 passing plays per game. DL lose more than they win.

No. Watt rushed himself back too soon after the first surgery, or they screwed it up. He's had 2 surgeries on same disc, which means next one ends his career.

FYI Giacomini just had his first disc surgery in January.

I'm glad Watson is ahead of the curve because history has told us that Savage will probably be good but short-lived due to injury. Watson will get his chance sooner rather and shortly thereafter Savage will join the long list of failed Texans QBs.

If Watson is forced into action early, he'll likely join the long list of failed Texans QB's too.....so let's hope we don't see him this season.

Hope all you want but Savage's weak and brittle body makes it inevitable.

So in your mind it's inevitable that Watson gets pushed into the game too soon and ends up joining the long list of failed Texans QB's?

I don't see any reason to be that pessimistic.

Yeah, it's pretty damn near inevitable that Watson will be needed when Savage does go down. Maybe it's for a short stint, but Watson is gonna get some run at some point. We won with Case, Weeden and so on. Watson will be fine.

No it's inevitable Watson will be forced to play early however, I don't share your opinion that Watson cannot handle it. I think our defense, run game, and run game heavy coaches makes it so he can manage games as he gets more comfortable and more experienced.

Savage at this point is far ahead of Watson, but for whatever reason fans want him to get hurt so they can start to worship the hype machine before he's ready and before he's fixed some of the problems with his game. It just doesn't make sense.

You just never stop, do you? People are not saying they want Savage to get hurt. Show me one post where someone says they hope Savage gets hurt. You won't find it.

You seem to be trying to create fake news. Enough already.

Exactly. He tries so hard. He didn't want Watson in the first place so now we all have to suffer and hear his low key whining ad nauseam.

Savage is ahead of Watson. We all know that.
Savage is probably going to get injured. We all know that too.

@Bobbythegreat has found his season long Texans squabble to trigger the masses!

Last year it was "Hopkins is not having a good year, it isn't Brock's fault".

This year it's "You guys want Savage to get hurt so Watson can start and get hurt".

    Classic Bobby.

Classic you, a ridiculous hot take of a post with no basis in reality.

It's pretty obvious that there are some fans hoping Savage gets hurt so that they can drool over their boy Watson. The least they could do is fess up to it when called out.

You say that but when people keep bringing up Savage getting hurt and then talking about all the great things that a rookie who isn't ready to start in the NFL is going to do.....sorry kiddo that's just how it comes across.
