Also brown seems to be a better teammate. He doesnt put himself above the team with flashy haircuts or provocative statements.

Lin seems to be a decent dude but pretty ego centric. He always needs to try to stick out or make it all about him.

The TOFs in the GARM and the LOFs .

You didn't get a taste of the YOFs, Yao Only Fans . They were the first ones of the player only fans. In general, they were respectful to Clutch (unlike Yung-T calling Clutch classless for posting the Toronto Quit article) and the LOFs calling Clutch a racist (yes, and they called everyone a racist who didn't lick lin).

My favorite trap was telling a YOF, that when Yao was playing Boston, he got out rebounded by Len Bias, the YOF started making excuses.
The problem was Len Bias died in the 80s and I just made it up to see if these guys were really watching the game or just saying crap to defend and honor their hero.

The obsesive player only fandom and idolization is just as bad as LOFs im sure but at least yao was a true rocket and had potential to be great without injuries. LOFs are a lost cause because their hero sucks lol

 

It's impossible to talk about basketball with these people without them making excuses for failure.

Harden, he sucked in game 6. no excuses. However, I have faith the team can go far with him, because they did go far.
And I understand when we made it to the WCF, he didn't play that well. But I also understand EVERY TEAM is looking to shut him down.

As for Lin. His court awareness as point guard was piss poor. That was on display against Portland. Morey saw it and realized he made a mistake and had to get rid of him.

Sure he can improve, it's hard to think anyone could play the position any worse. The only thing saving him is his ability to drive and finish on breaks.

Every time I watch Portland, I think of what he did to us that series. I wish he learned about his late-game heroics from the Miami game. It's not that he missed the shot in Miami. It's that he didn't hit the rim and then rubbed his hands together, as if they were cold from some frigid Florida air. Many of us could see that he wasn't ready for that final shot. James sure knew and started demanding the ball during any last possession.

That could have been a special year with James and Dwight on good terms.But nope, we were battling an unstoppable Dame Lilliard along with a guy on our very own team. He wanted a hail Mary, even when there was no reason to run.

I can't even look at Robin Lopez aka Sideshow Bob, without being irritated that he went further into the post-season than D12.

Or, remembering the gift he gave to Nic Batum to destroy us (again).

Thank the Lord for Pat Beverly for being what the Rockets needed most from their PG: Intelligent, Dependable, Team-focused. Even if his shot wasn't falling, he'd get the ball to the right place, play some damn good defense and fit into his ROLE so that the team could WIN.

We upgraded, but I'm gonna miss Pat. To observe how we went from the guard in New Jersey, to Pat, and now, to CP3, is the definition of progress. It took some time, but Morey has created epic upgrades at the PG/SG'SF\bench depth. I'd argue that Trev has been a significant improvement for us at the SF position, based on the consistency, defense and game-changing factors.

I was a Chandler Parsons fan while he was here, but man has he had a disappointing career since signing with the enemy.The Dwight recruitment was amazing, but Morey helped the Rockets dodge a bullet. There was no way that the guard in Jersey and Chandler would have accepted their roles in the same way Trev, Pat, Ego, former Roc Sweet Lou,etc embraced their purpose on the court and surpassed expectations.

Amyway, shout out to Sean Marks for handing out some of those sweet contracts. Demarre, Timofey and Crabbe Patty are thrilled to be there.
