Immigrants and population growth should mean more building more infrastructure, schools, etc.. We merely put our resources in less productive areas.

The same immigrants from the early 20th century, the successive generations became more assimilated and more prosperous. Irish and Italian don't carry the same stigma as in 1920, 1940, or 1960.

 

you went through an article that showed the positive impact of immigration and then cherry picked the one point about immigrant having more kids to argue they are a drain on society. I think your desire to defend whiteness is clear

 

As someone who works in building field I'm seeing this first hand in Minnesota. It doesn't surprise me that this is happening elsewhere particularly in states like Texas.

 

Pretty much any GOP bill that needs 60 votes won't get passed, see tax reform.
