Admittedly, I am biased since I have been a Jay Cutler fan going back to the college days (I remember posting about him here in 2006). However, it seems like an easy decision for the Dolphins. He had a pretty good year in 2015 with Gase as his coordinator. It's late in the summer and he should know the system. It's a one year deal with not much to lose. Not a lot of downside really.
Cutler is better than Tannehill in my opinion. Not saying either of them are actually good. It's kind of like asking yourself if you would rather have a $5 plastic garbage can from the dollar store or a $45 stainless steel garbage can from Bed Bath & Beyond, in the end it's still garbage.
