Get off your high building! Again, I'm referring to the partying and celebratory nature of the alcohol consumption in this case. This was far from sulking, as was shown in the videos posted here. I'm amazed at how hard this concept is to comprehend around here...
Forgive me, I'm just having a hard time comprehending what is the difference between alcohol consumption in a parking lot, and alcohol consumption in an establishment. As you can see, it's very confusing trying to understand your illogical stance.
So he wasn't sad or depressed enough about it......hmmmmm.... Maybe next time he should commit suicide after a big loss and then maybe he could convince people how much he loved the game......smh
That's a bit extreme, and you know what I mean. You can use hyperbole all you want, I'm still entitled to my opinion.
so after leading the rockets to 3rd seed being the only star of the team (with a new coach, new 2nd, 3rd, and 4th scoring options) behind multi star gsw and sa, ahead of multi star cavs, boston, and clippers and beating OKC and the league MVP then getting beat by a higher seeded well coached multi star SA in 6 games he has no right whatsover to have a drink and enjoy???
I don't know how as to say it, I didn't like the look of him out celebrating after a loss like that. Shows that he didn't give a ****, whether that's how he really felt or not. Rewatch his post game press conference, I got the same feeling after watching that as well. I'm sure I'm not alone on this, but I guess just one of the braver one's to post on this topic for fear of ridicule.
He has every right to do so. I just didn't like the look of him partying at a club after that game. Again, even his post game speech rubbed me the wrong way. Surely, I can't be alone feeling this way, which I have the right to as well.
So from what I can gather is that: You're a fan of the team he plays on. You support the team and him. You're support directly pays his salary. So you feel like he should celebrate or sulk the way you would or in a way that would make you happy.... so it doesn't LOOK bad......
people on this site worry about harden's personal life too much, i think a lot of it is fear of harden possibly declining over night. Because so far he has shown he has adjusted his game and basically reached another level every year. Rockets fans are scared that 2017 is the best he will be. I think their is another level harden can reach. So far we have seen super sayian harden (2012-okc), super sayian 2 harden (2013), super sayian 3 harden (2014), super sayian 4 harden (2015), super sayian god was (2016), and super sayian blue was (2017). I think Harden will average the highest ppg of his career this upcoming season and reach LEGENDARY SUPER SAYIAN
Not word for word, but the LOOK told me he really didn't care that much, and he should have. Now I really can't tell, and that bothers me. I'm not asking him to go all Cam Newton on the media, but for Pete's sake, a little TMac emotion would be appreciated after one of the worst losses in franchise history. Does that make sense?
Harden has improved some aspect of his game every year since he got to Houston. He has added some wrinkle that has made him a better player every off-season. You can look it up. He has been one of the most durable, most used and best players in the league. I think it sucks that he played so badly down the stretch against San Antonio, but I don't read anything into speeches, or parties by players.
Thank you for the fair, non ad hominem reply. You are surely entitled to your opinion. I understand that Harden is a great player with a world of talent, and if I feel extremely disappointed by him, I can't change that. I wouldn't care if I wasn't so invested in this team. That should speak for itself. I'm not trolling anyone, those are my true feelings, albeit in the minority.
