I think rim protection will be decent enough. Clint's length, Nene's strength, and Black's motor will be a nice dynamic as far as interior defense. Everything else is switch, switch, switch.

The biggest deficiency will be the same as last year. Rebounding. We had a hard time finishing plays on defense. This is arbitrary, but we probably have a 60-win season last year if we rebounded better.

I should say that the reason we struggled rebounding was because of the switching and frequent need for our big man to rotate or help at the rim

Our biggest deficiency is that our best offensive and defensive players are, for the most part, different players. The Warriors best offensive players can all be used as a monster defensive lineup as well where as for us to be at our best offensively or defensively, the other side will simultaneously falter.

82 games bro. These guys have already played together with the national team and their basketball geniuses. They'll have chemistry the minute they step on the court and they'll only get better. They fit well together. And they want to play together. If we added Melo at the deadline he'd still be playoff ready after about 5 games.

I like that trade. Now, sell it to themfolk in NYC.

IMO - picking up CFrye to change up things would be aces.

........which means we stl need something else...

    Best offensive line-up
    Paul
    Gordon
    Harden
    Capela
    Melo

    OR

    Paul
    Gordon
    Harden
    Melo
    with one of Ariza/Tucket/LMM

The defensive weakness of those lineups still comes down to the interior.

somebody who can create a shot in the low post at crunch time? Other than pick n roll... who's gonna be able to throw it down with two hands when the defense spreads out to cover the shooters?

Rebounds. Can't let Draymond get extra chances for his shooters.

BigShasta, don't re-post stuff like that. I blocked him because he constantly posts sexual innuendo instead of basketball. He only shows when people like you reply to him or you @ me.

I will only consider unblocking him when I see in replies to him that he is talking basketballball instead of copulating, masturbating, and defacating. He earned his ignore. He'll have to earn the reversal.

    Will not respond further.

Well that was sobering. It's been over a year fam, let's squash the beef. Dedicating? I've never...o wait you right. I voted rebounding but interior defense is gonna be a b**** as well. Hope Clint has been eating his grape nut flakes.

I think the lack of a LeBron James is what will cost this team ultimately.
