    place holder for OS Trig

What a friggin waste! I held this spot for this???? This probably deserves its own thread, but in the hangout.

Look at this waste, it was worse than that first bit.

He asked to be traded weeks before the CP3 trade? Wow.

    Belongs in the Dish?

I'm not surprised he asked for a trade... in his mind he seems to think he can be much better than he really is offensively. No doubt he is still a defensive monster but he had the perfect situation with Harden where they both masked each other's deficiencies on either end of the court.

    Good luck in LA!!!

He wanted to spread his wings as a PG and I commend him for that. He has no negative feelings about the Rockets at all.

Really hope Bev surprises a lot of people and can establish a bigger role, he absolutely gave 100% each game and seems like a textbook role model when it comes to fighting the odds and achieving your dreams.

Deserves a bigger pay day and recognition now.

Bev is wrong. He didn't ask for a trade, the Rockets were shopping him hard.

Bev's in his peak as a player right now. it's smart financially to go to another situation to get more $ while he can bc he wouldn't get that here. good luck to him though

Will be interesting. Teodosic is maybe the best playmaker in the world and a good shooter, but bad at defense.

I can actually see Bev starting at 1, while Teodosic plays at the 2 and carries playmaking duties, like Harden did for us.
Pairing Bev up with Teodosic makes a lot of sense, they really complement each other well.

But didn't he request the trade so he can be more of the primary playmaker?

ClutchFans is about to TURN on Beverley, lol! I cannot WAIT for our first game against LAC and Beverley dives at CP3's knees. That would cause a RUCKUS on here.

I think he was low key talking about harden in regards to not getting back on d and coaches not saying anything. But I know that's his guy so he made sure to back out of it quickly.

Anyways salute to pat, I don't think he has more in him offensively and his role hear was perfect... but I wish him all the success in the world you can't help but root for the guy

Beverley only dives at the ball. If knees, faces, or a brick wall are in the way, that is their problem.

Exactly. If Teodosic carries the playmaking abilities and Bev provides the defensive heft at the 1, like he did for us, I am not sure he accomplishes his stated goal of expanding his offensive game/playmaking abilities. Seems all he will have accomplished is swapping jerseys and teammates, but he will be the same Bev doing the same thing.
